QotD: I Left My Heart in...

Comments

Except for the weather, your home sounds lovely. It sounds like something most Americans don't get to experience any more.

And ditto on the clothesline--isn't it nice that no one cares? I'm putting up a clothesline this summer and I'm very excited, not only for the fresh outdoor smell I remember from childhood but also for the savings on the dryer. I live just outside a major metropolitan area and I feel really fortunate that I can do what I want where I live; many of my clients live in high-end suburban areas where fencing isn't allowed for their dogs (I drive through entire neighborhoods with dogs sitting out for hours, all alone, behind electric fences. Very sad.) and clotheslines are most certainly not allowed. Because it would look bad, you know.

[this is good]
