Confession: PBR

Comments

dood, PBR IS good beer!

Jagermeister, on the other hand...I swear it has some mild hallucinogenic. Everytime I've done shots of that stuff, I've woken up feeling my mind has definitely been altered. By the way, the Mo Club has Jag on tap as well.

Aaah PBR.

I too have a history with the stuff. I once retreated into a mountain cabin with ten cases or so to try and write. Didn't last as long as I thought. One trouble with PBR however is it seems to taste completely different in different parts of the country. In cans at least. Old Style does as well. The stuff that used to be on tap at Wrigley totally different from the canned stuff you get in places like Phoenix. Often arguments re. the attributes of such beers occur because the combatents are discussing two completely different liquids. I toured the original PBR brewery in Mil. once (huge statue of King Gambrinus the patron saint of brewing out front) old wood, history and the beer tasted great there. Far cry from the Shlitz and Colt 45 the company puts out today as they've gone around the country buying out local favorites like Schmidt, Lone Star and Rainier.

one thing i don't like about living out east is so few people drink wheat beer here. i love the stuff and would drink only wheat beer if more places offered it.

PBR. hahahaha. do you shoot bottles and small rodents after you've tossed back a few?

Well, I do that anyway. We all do out here in Idy-ho--but you already knew that.
It's tales like this that makes me wish i wasn't allergic to beer.
